about Malachi:

I was raised in upstate NY in the small town of Accord and currently live in the Black Forest of Germany. Growing up I always had a passion for design and a fascination with materials, but it wasn’t until I took my first welding class that I became enamored with the art of craft. Furniture design has come to me as an outlet for both honoring and creating beauty within this world. I believe that people should have a connection with the objects around them that they use on a daily basis, and it is the honoring of beauty, and of simplicity and scale that invites viewers to engage with each piece I create.
